What we collect, why, who helps us, and your rights. We keep it to what we need to make your films.

Who is responsible

What we collect and why

• Your email address, to create your account and send you sign-in links (to perform our contract with you).
• The websites you give us and what we collect from them: screenshots, text, logo, colours and images of those pages, and the films we make. We need these to make and store your films (contract).
• Payment details: handled by Stripe. We see your plan, billing country and invoices, never your full card number. Invoices are kept as long as accounting law requires (contract, legal obligation).
• Technical logs (IP address, errors) for a short time, to keep the service secure and working (legitimate interest).
• Emails you send us, to answer you.

Point us only at public pages or test accounts with sample data, never at pages with other people’s personal data (see the terms).

No tracking

We use no advertising or analytics cookies and do not sell your data. Your browser stores only the sign-in token that keeps you logged in; that is strictly necessary, so no cookie banner is needed.

Who helps us

These providers process data for us under data processing agreements, only to provide the service:

• Supabase: Accounts, sign-in emails, the database and your films. EU (Frankfurt, Germany).
• Hetzner: Hosting the website. EU (Germany).
• Stripe: Payments, invoices and VAT. EU, with transfers to the US under EU safeguards.
• Cloudflare: Domain name and forwarding email sent to hello@yusalo.com. Global network, EU safeguards.
• Anthropic: The AI that writes and designs your film from the website material. US, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• GPU cloud provider: Rendering films. Named here when it starts, with its location.

How long we keep it

Your account, projects and films stay as long as you have an account. When you delete your account (email us), we delete them within 30 days, except invoices we must keep by law.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or limit how we use it: email hello@yusalo.com and we reply within a month. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
